About Me
I'm Filip Krawiec, a DevOps Lead and Software Engineer with a background in Civil Engineering and Architecture. My journey from designing physical structures to building digital systems has shaped how I think about scale, resilience, and flow.
I began my career as a Java and React developer, eventually moving into mobile development with Flutter. Over time, I found myself drawn to deeper challenges—understanding systems, improving team delivery, and building engineering culture.
Today, I lead DevOps in the Credit division at Barclays, where I focus on enabling teams to ship faster, safer, and with more confidence. My daily work blends architecture, delivery, and coaching—bringing clarity to complexity and purpose to process.
I’m deeply influenced by ideas from The DevOps Handbook, The Toyota Way, Domain-Driven Design, Clean Code, and the principles of lean software architecture. These aren’t just books to me — they’re foundational perspectives that shape how I lead and build.
This website is where I collect the concepts and lessons I return to most — the mental models, design approaches, and cultural insights that help me and the people I work with build better systems, and better teams.
